Our latest video is a guide to the outstanding stretch of road over Garleigh Moor and down towards Rothbury.

Cyclone Challenge Rides - A Guide to Garleigh Moor from Cyclone Cycling Festival on Vimeo.

Garleigh moor is a beautiful high stretch of road on the approaches to Rothbury and it features on both the 90 and 106 mile routes of the Cyclone Challenge Rides. With magnificent view stretching out over the town of Rothbury itself and beyond to the Cheviot hills, that dominate the horizon to the north, this is one of our favourite stretches of the Challenge Rides. The descent from the top of the moor towards Rothbury is fast, open and steep in places, with a sweeping left-hand bend at the foot, making for a thrilling and engaging experience on two wheels. Ride it for yourself on 17 June in the Cyclone Challenge Rides (
Ride Garleigh Moor and other great stretches of spectacular and otherwise deserted roads alongside thousands of other cyclists, in the Cyclone Challenge Rides on 17 June 2017 - More info & entry details
