First of all, I hope you are all well and managing to get out on your bikes as the first signs of Spring are appearing!
We're continuing to plan for the Cyclone Festival of Cycling to take place on 2-4 July and this week's Government announcement of a four stage process, that should see the removal of coronavirus restrictions by the 21 June, gives us real grounds for optimism that we will be able to go ahead as scheduled.
Indeed, we might well be one of the first major cycling events to run, which should make this year's Cyclone a rather special occasion for you, the participants, as well as us, the organisers.
As ever, rest assured that we will following Government and British Cycling guidance closely and keeping you up to date with progress as the event gets closer.
In the meantime, with full refunds or entry transfers available, should we have to re-schedule, why not get yourself entered into one of our six public rides and be part of what we all hope will be a very special edition of the Cyclone
Remember, we've already got hundreds of entries for this year's festival and we'd love to see you there. Details of the six public events and how to enter them are on this website.
