The Cyclone Festival of Cycling is pleased to announce Lamb and Associates will be sponsoring the Team competition in the Beaumont Trophy international men’s cycling race on Sunday 18th June. Lamb and Associates provide financial life planning, are based in Ponteland and have recently opened new offices in nearby Cullercoats and Throckley.

David Lamb, Partner at Lamb & Associates’ Ponteland office said: “We are very passionate about the financial life planning. Our plans make sure that you never run out of money, you retire at the earliest opportunity and live your life to the fullest whilst you are still young and healthy enough to enjoy it. This ethos is embodied by the Cyclone Festival of Cycling and we are delighted to be able to support the prestigious Beaumont Trophy race.”

Cyclone Festival of Cycling organiser Peter Harrison said: “It’s great to have the support of a growing North-East based business and Lamb and Associates’ backing really helps us as we continue to develop and improve the Beaumont Trophy race.”

The Beaumont Trophy International cycle race will take place on Sunday 18th June. The event is one of only a handful of one-day international men's road cycling races in the UK and is one of the country’s most important and historic road races. The event takes place on the roads around the village of Stamfordham and is an excellent event for spectators who can enjoy the racing for free in the village or on the famous Ryals climb a couple of miles away. Past winners include 2012 Tour de France champion, Bradley Wiggins.

The Cyclone Festival of Cycling also includes the Tyne 6 Bridges Leisure Rides on Friday 16 June, the Cyclone Challenge Rides on Saturday 17 June and the Curlew Cup women's race on Sunday 18th June.
