Cyclone Festival of Cycling Statement - 23 March 2020
Following advice from both the Government and British Cycling and against the backdrop of the developing Coronavirus pandemic, the decision has been taken to postpone the Cyclone Festival of Cycling originally scheduled for 26-28 June 2020.
Initially, the organisers will be looking for opportunities to re-schedule the Festival for later in the year.
Riders who have already entered any of the Cyclone Festival’s events will be offered the opportunity to transfer their entry to the re-scheduled event or, if re-scheduling is not possible, to the 2021 Festival. In both cases, riders will also be offered a refund.
As a small team running the event on a not-for-profit basis, please bear with us whilst we look at all the options carefully. In return, we will keep all riders up to date with details of re-schedules, refunds and other important information on a regular basis.
In the meantime, we’d like to thank everyone involved in the event, from riders through to volunteers, for their ongoing support and wish them all the best at this challenging time.
