May 21, 2022 | 1month | News
Local mental health charity Tyneside and Northumberland Mind have partnered with Cyclone Cycling Challenge 2022 to encourage people to take part in any of this year’s Cyclone’s Challenge cycle rides, on Saturday 25th June, whilst also raising funds for their local mental health services.
The charity, whose mission is to ensure that no one should suffer a mental health issue alone, offers 7 days a week one-to-one support service, wellbeing groups and counselling to those experiencing mental health issues as well as corporate training and support to the business community.
Alex Wilson, CEO Tyneside and Northumberland Mind said “Being one of the Cyclone Cycling Festival's recognised charity partners helps Tyneside and Northumberland Mind to both raise funds and raise mental health awareness, making this a very exciting opportunity for us. We are hugely grateful for the opportunity to be able to offer race places to our supporters so people can help us to raise funds whilst taking part in such an iconic local challenge. As a charity, we rely on fundraising in order to carry out our work in supporting individuals, families, communities and businesses with mental health.”
